Briefly describe the project:

the project we are doing is the computer mouse display board.  this is to be displayed in the library to teach people about the computer

What have you accomplished this week?

me and leo have succesfully completed our display board.  it is on a easel board and ready to be displayed

What problems have you overcome this week?

we have overcome the problem of getting the board to stay up and be securley fassend on the display board

What are the most significant problems you face at this time? What will you do to meet these problems?

they are trying to keep the board on the display board.  we are going to use tape and/or clips that secure it

What materials or information do you need? How do you plan on getting these materials or information?

we dont need any materials now because our project is completly finished 

What have you accomplished this week?

we have made a ton of stickersw for our computer and we have made a sick computer

we have overcome figuroing out the whole vinyl cutter and many problems on our computer

we dont have any serious problems

the only materials that we need are vinyl and our computer

 

Briefly describe the project:

The Project is the a G3 iMac that i am refurbishing into a complete, working computer.

What have you accomplished this week?

 I have come to the conclusion that the monitor in my first computer was fried so i took all salvagable parts out and will use them in an older model.

What problems have you overcome this week?

 I have overcome the problem of the broken moniitor and stripping it down completly

What are the most significant problems you face at this time? What will you do to meet these problems?

 I have to transfer everything out of the old mac to the new mac

What materials or information do you need? How do you plan on getting these materials or information?

I dont think i need any information, if i do, i can use the manual that mike printed out from a mac forum.  The manual has the answer to any possible question. 

 

Briefly describe the project:

 The project i am doing right now is the G3 iMac, so far i have swapped hard drives, motherboard, and dick drive. The computer went from not working, to be fully functional, minus the part of not being able to go into OS X

What have you accomplished this week?

I have gone from 2 nonfunctional computers, to have one that is fully functional and working fine

What problems have you overcome this week?

I had two computers that worked partially, and i made one good one, from the two that didnt work fully.  Thats pretty cool if you ask me.

What are the most significant problems you face at this time? What will you do to meet these problems?

I now need to be able to get into OS X. Once i do that, we should be in excellent shape, we will just then have to upgrade ram, and other things.

What materials or information do you need? How do you plan on getting these materials or information?

We just need to be able to get into OS X then we can go from there. If that does not work i amm going to reformat the hard drive and just run Ubuntu.  That will be fine, but i really want to work on getting into OS X.

Briefly describe the project:

I have been working on various projects this week since i am still searching for a new disk drive, the one i have is broken, and i am in need of a new one.  I have been helping various people with motherboard transfers and etc.

What have you accomplished this week?

 I have switched many motherboards and got many computers up and running.  I am still working with Brett to get his working, he has a problem i believe with the hard drive.

What problems have you overcome this week?

 Having many nonworking computers, and getting them fixed and running.

What are the most significant problems you face at this time? What will you do to meet these problems?

 None.

What materials or information do you need? How do you plan on getting these materials or information?

None.
